The RAW Garden and Storytelling Australia Victoria are working together to create a program of stories.
On the first Sunday of the month, under the trees, next to the chooks or nestled into the herb gardens, there will be a chance to hear and tell stories.
The year begins with visiting Brazilian storyteller Cadu Cinelli.
Cadu is the co founder, an art director, storyteller and visual artist with the group Os Tapetes Contadores de Histórias (The Carpet Storytellers). With his group Cadu, has performed, taught and presented exhibitions in Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguai, Peru, Nicaragua, Mexico, Benin, Portugal and Spain. Cadu will perform with textile books, carpets and embroidered boxes. These props are the landscapes and scenarios for the Andin narrative of The Mystery of Pachacamac, the Amazonic tale of The White Monkey and the Jaguar; the French Jojo's Story, the Russian fairy adventures of Wassaliza, and a Brazilian folktale,The Mother of the Water.
