Australia members are welcome to attend Great Forest Storytelling (and family, friends and other folk).

Share fairy tales, wonder stories
and other yarns by the fire in the beautiful 1920s ambiance of Strathvea Guest
House, surrounded by the tall trees of Toolangi in the Yarra Ranges.
There will be two storytelling
sessions on Saturday: family-friendly afternoon session at 2.30 pm, and evening
session 7.30 pm.
Each session is $15, or $25 for both.
You are welcome just to
listen, or share a tale.
Shared meal 6:30pm (bring a plate - vegetarian or
free-range/organic meat please).
Optional: overnight stay with Sunday
activities.
From Healesville, follow Myers Creek Road into the hills of
Toolangi, heart of proposed Great Forest National Park, last homeland of
endangered Fairy Possum.
Strathvea (of Deanne & Toby Eccles) is 15min drive
north of Healesville, just over an hour from the start of Melbourne’s Eastern
Freeway.
To stay overnight, reduced rates apply, this weekend only: $130 to
$165.
Breakfast ingredients provided. Guests can prepare
breakfast in the Guest House kitchen.
Although accommodation appears
fully booked on public view, there are still spaces for SAV.
