If yes head on down to Mentone for a fun-filled 2 hours of creativity and wonder as we enter a world of stories told through a variety of mediums.
Watch artist Liz in action as she asks you and the kids to paint rocks and then makes up a story with those rocks. The kids may even want to make up their own story, which is always loads of fun.
I will be using my 'Kamishibai' (Japanese style storytelling paper stage) to tell a couple of tales. This way of storytelling is very interactive and engaging as it is easy to see the colorful A3 picture cards being moved from front to back as the story unfolds.
All the monies raised from ticket sales will go towards a wonderful charity project that allows children to attend school in remote communities in Pakistan, as we believe everyone should have the opportunity for education.
So if you feel like a fun afternoon where you can foster your kids' creativity come on down to Liz' art studio in Mentone, take a tour of her wonderful community garden and feel good about supporting a very worthwhile charity.
