Newport Folk Festival is more than a weekend of music, dancing and storytelling - its also a weekend of lectures workshops, food, markets and making.There's something for everyone.
For the storytellers, the Festival celebrates wordsmiths over lunch at the Newport Bowling Club. Alongside the poets and singer songwriters, the storytellers step up to the mic and share their artistry.
WORDS WORDS WORDS has become a popular event at the Newport Festival planned in cooperation with Storytelling Guild (Vic).
